Access by role
Admin, Manager, HR, Legal Associate, Accounting and Employee roles each see and do only what their permission matrix allows — create, read, update, delete — enforced on the server for every request, not just hidden in the interface.

Screens from the Suit Up web application — the clients and cases shown are test data.
Every case in Suit Up carries a unique ID built from the client group, client and matter type, together with the client it belongs to, the assigned team members, a due date, a priority and its current sub-status. Your Cases lays them all out on one board — Open, In Progress, Overdue, Completed, Drafts — so nothing is waiting in someone’s inbox.
The dashboard opens on today: active cases, open tasks, pending to-dos, the reminders due and a calendar of hearings and deadlines. Clients see the same case through the portal — its status, stage, progress and point of contact — kept current by the team as the work moves.

Documents in Suit Up follow the matter, not the email thread. The Clients view opens as a set of folders, one per client group, each with its group code. Drill into a client, then a case, and every notice, draft, filing and executed copy is there, with the date it was added and its history.
Uploads come in from the team, from secure upload links sent to a client, and directly from the client portal — where you can add your own material as PDF, Word or images and the team is notified the moment it lands.

A case is opened, a status changes, a document is uploaded, a meeting is set — it appears in the Suit Up notification feed the moment it happens, filterable by type, and reaches the team as a desktop notification. Case messages run in their own threads, and a ticket system tracks anything that needs following up.
Clients hear it too: the portal receives updates live, and email alerts go out for new cases, progress, documents, invoices and payment reminders — each one switchable by the client.

Confidentiality is the whole point of a law firm. Suit Up is built so that convenience never comes at the cost of privilege: access is decided by role and by record, every request is checked on the server, and clients reach their own matters — and only their own — through a separate portal login.
Admin, Manager, HR, Legal Associate, Accounting and Employee roles each see and do only what their permission matrix allows — create, read, update, delete — enforced on the server for every request, not just hidden in the interface.
Permissions go down to the individual case and client. A team member sees the matters they are assigned or granted; view, edit and delete can be given — or withheld — per record.
Clients sign in to their own portal with their own credentials. A client login can never reach staff screens, a staff login is refused by the portal, and every portal request is scoped on the server to that client’s own cases, documents, invoices and messages.
Work updates and notes reach a client only when the lawyer marks them visible. Internal discussion, tickets and team messages stay internal.
Staff accounts hold a single active session — signing in elsewhere signs the other device out. Everything travels over HTTPS; passwords are stored only as salted hashes; documents are held in cloud storage in India (AWS Mumbai region).
Case history logs status changes, document uploads and edits with who and when. Client records carry their own logs, and deleted items go to Recently Deleted rather than vanishing.
On engagement we register you as a client in Suit Up — with your group, points of contact and billing details — and open your first case.
Your case manager sends portal sign-in details to your primary email. Sign in with your email and password, and change the password whenever you like.
Follow progress, open documents, upload your own, set reminders, view invoices and message the team — from any device, whenever you need to.
